Some of you may know that we
have beer from Jennings Brewery on sale from time to time. Unfortunately the brewery, in
‘Mr’ Whicket: Our pub cat Whicket
has not been feeling too good just lately.
He has been limping for a while, which our local vet thinks is just arthritis,
so we have been giving him painkillers to help out. So if you also own Whicket
(and there seem to be a lot of us) PLEASE DO NOT give
him any medication without talking to us first.

pm. This is a jackpot draw – estimated

Fern’s walking for charity. (10.07.2009)
Our lovely waitress Fern was
walking to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton – we think this is
fancy dress, but she added a pair of wellies for the
walk, and raised over £100.00. Well done

Gav’s Stag do (11.07.09)
Just another
day at the Rose and Crown. We did do the boys a nice breakfast to set
them up for the day. Nice outfit Gav!
