The Rose and Crown offers a mix of dining styles, from casual bar meals for walkers and cyclists, served in the bar or garden, to intimate dinners in the restaurant. We also have a Take-Away menu which is available every day.

Food is freshly cooked to order, and where possible salad, vegetables and fruit are grown in our own garden. Meat and fish are sourced from local suppliers.

Our Lunchtime and Evening menu are served most days from 12.00 – 2.30 pm and 6.00 – 9.00 pm. Last orders are taken 15 minutes before the end of each session. The Lunchtime and Evening menus are not available when we are serving ‘specials’, as follows:

Sunday Lunch – a traditional roast lunch served from 12.00 – 2.30 pm. £7.50 per person

Curry Night – Monday from 6.00 – 9.00 pm. Choice of Curries, Pilau Basmati rice, Naan bread and pickles. £6.95 per person

Steak Night – Thursday from 6.00 – 9.00 pm. Get TWO 8 oz Rump Steaks for just £16.00 the pair!
